The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a soft and versatile wool-like fabric, distinguished by its printed design that incorporates vintage illustrations of plants and fruits, in shades of ecru, mint, dark red, and seaweed green.
The design adorning this fabric captures the aesthetic essence of a vintage style connected with nature. With a color palette that includes ecru as a base, mint providing freshness, dark red adding a touch of warmth, and seaweed green evoking the serenity of leaves and plants, the print is visually harmonious and balanced. This interplay of colors allows for attractive combinations with solid tones such as light gray, black, or deep navy blue, which will enrich any creation. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning the back of the fabric remains plain and without design, allowing for a clean and refined finish in any application.
Among its general characteristics, Paño - Glasgow offers a soft texture to the touch, providing comfort in its use. This fabric, due to its composition (93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane) and its weight of 380 g/m², stands out for its durability and resistance, ideal for applications in both fashion and home textiles. Its applications are extremely varied; it is perfect for making coats and jackets that are suitable for cold climates, as well as blazers and vests that add elegance. In the home, it is ideal for creating rugs and cushions that add a cozy touch to any space, in addition to being useful in manufacturing curtains that diffuse light without losing privacy. Furthermore, its use in table decoration and kitchen applications, such as dishcloths, offers a functional and aesthetic plus in various environments.
Care for Paño - Glasgow fabric is essential to prolong its lifespan. It is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, avoiding dry cleaning. In addition, it is advised to iron at a warm temperature and not to tumble dry, which ensures that the colors and shape of the garment remain intact.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation on polyester, a process that allows for the precise transfer of vibrant images and colors to the fabric. This method ensures excellent print durability, as the design is integrated into the polyester fibers rather than remaining on the surface, making it resistant to washing and wear. Sublimation not only provides a high-quality finish but also allows for the creation of complex and detailed patterns, making this fabric an ideal choice for projects that require both aesthetics and functionality.
