The Atenas Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit fabric features a design that evokes a playful and mysterious world, filled with bats and cats, as well as fantasy elements like witches and cauldrons, all in a vintage style harmonized with polka dots that suggest an ethereal air.
The design, with its main colors of ecru, mint, dark purple, and coffee bear brown, combines the softness of light tones with the depth and mystery of dark ones. Ecru can serve as a neutral base, while mint brings freshness and a vibrant touch, making it easy to mix with other plain colors like light gray, black, or even an intense blue, which can complement and enhance the designs palette. It is important to note that the printing is done on one side using a digital textile printing process, which allows for superior definition and quality in details, making each garment a unique piece.
Regarding its general characteristics, jersey knit stands out for its softness to the touch, promoting a comfortable and cozy feel against the skin. This fabric is highly elastic, allowing for an optimal fit to different body types and movements, making each garment a versatile option for daily wear. The printed design features vibrant colors and a finish that lasts over time, thanks to the quality of the dyes used in sublimation on polyester, which also gives it resistance to fading.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, products made with this material are ideal for a variety of groups and contexts. The fabric is especially suitable for making lingerie and pajamas, offering comfort and warmth, as well as for fashion garments such as jerseys, tops, and dresses that combine modern and vintage styles. It is also perfect for creating accessories like scarves, hats, or socks, which expands its use in fashion and accessories. In the realm of home textiles, it is ideal for blankets that offer cozy warmth in winter, as well as table runners that liven up any dining room, adding a touch of design to spaces.
Regarding its care, it is essential to follow certain recommendations to preserve the quality of the fabric. The use of bleach is discouraged, and washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC is recommended. Dry cleaning is a permissible option, except in the case of trichloroethylene. As for ironing, it should be done at cool temperatures, and to preserve elasticity and softness, it is important to avoid using a tumble dryer.
Finally, the printing technology used is sublimation on polyester, a technique that allows dyes to fuse with the fabric fibers through heat, creating a vibrant and durable finish. This process allows for intricate details and a soft feel, ensuring that the garment is not only visually appealing but also comfortable for daily wear.
