The Paño - Glasgow fabric is an exuberant polyester composition with a printed design that evokes a festive celebration through its vibrant gastronomy and nature elements, highlighting sage green, dark red, and seaweed colors.
In symbolic terms, the design presents a set of elements that reflect the warmth and joy of the winter season. The candy cane and gingerbread cookie evoke memories of family gatherings and culinary traditions, while jelly beans and candies add an air of fun and celebration. The representation of the Christmas tree and holly reinforces the connection with nature, symbolizing renewal and winter feasting. Technically, the design is effective thanks to the choice of vibrant colors and their harmonious arrangement. For combinations, solid colors that could complement this design are snow white, metallic gold, and raw tones that highlight the festivity without saturating the visual palette. Its worth mentioning that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, ensuring a high-quality finish on the visible side, while the reverse remains unprinted.
The general characteristics of the fabric include a soft touch texture, making it an ideal choice for garments and items that require a pleasant sensation against the skin. Additionally, its weight of 380 gr/m² gives it an adequate weight for use in both fashion and home decoration. The applications and uses of the fabric are diverse: it can be used in the manufacture of coats, jackets, vests, and blazers, where it provides elegance and comfort. In the field of home textiles, it is excellent for creating cushions, curtains, and carpets, providing a cozy and festive touch to any space. It also allows for the production of table runners and kitchen towels, perfect for adorning spaces during winter celebrations.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is crucial to avoid bleaching and use a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC to preserve the vibrant colors and fiber integrity. Additionally, it is recommended to avoid dry cleaning and tumble drying, and to iron at a warm temperature to maintain the softness and appearance of the fabric.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process involves transforming inks into gas, which adhere to the fabric fibers when subjected to heat and pressure. This allows for durable integration of the design, ensuring that the colors are intense and do not fade over time, which ensures that every item made with this fabric maintains its beauty and freshness throughout its use.
