The 190 gr/m2 Recycled Lycra fabric is a soft and elastic material, ideal for crafting pieces with a printed design that evokes Christmas gastronomy, including elements such as candy canes, gingerbread cookies, and gummy candies, along with natural motifs like a Christmas tree and holly. The predominant colors in the design—Sage Green, Dark Red, and Seaweed—combine perfectly with solid tones like white, cream, and gold, enhancing its vibrant festive aesthetic. It is worth noting that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures quality and precision in the design details.
Regarding its general characteristics, Recycled Lycra is presented as a high-quality material, combining 85% polyester and 15% elastane. The weight of 190 gr/m2 provides resistance and durability, while its width of 150 cm allows for the creation of various garments. Among its notable features are its softness to the touch, its elasticity, and its chlorine resistance, as well as a high UV protection factor with a rating of 50+, making it an excellent option for swimwear. The printed design also boasts exceptional quality, thanks to the sublimation technique that allows for vivid and sharp colors that integrate into the fabric fibers.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, its versatility makes it ideal for both sports and fashion. It can be used in the production of bikinis, swimsuits, and other swimwear, as well as tops for women, men, and children. Additionally, its festive aesthetic allows it to be used to create accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies, which are perfect for completing a summer or Christmas look. In the sports field, its elasticity and chlorine resistance make it a practical choice for aquatic activities.
To ensure the durability of the fabric, it is essential to follow certain care guidelines: it should not be bleached, washing is recommended at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, and garments should not be dry cleaned. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and the use of a tumble dryer should be avoided to prevent damage to the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process in which dyes turn into gas and integrate into the polyester fibers. This not only allows for vibrant colors and precise details but also makes the designs extremely durable and resistant to fading, ideal for garments that will be used in water or under the sun. Sublimation is, therefore, a technique that not only enhances the beauty of the design but also ensures the quality of the final product.
