The Satin - Amsterdam fabric is a 100% polyester satin weave that combines a shiny, smooth texture with a printed design featuring an intense garnet red, complemented by subtle touches of night black and mint green. This design evokes a sense of sophistication and elegance, ideal for creations that aim to capture attention. It can be easily combined with solid colors such as pure white, gold, or even a soft gray, creating a captivating visual contrast. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only, using digital textile printing, and is not a double-sided printed fabric.
In terms of general characteristics, the Satin - Amsterdam has a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, which gives it a soft drape and a lightweight structure. The shiny and smooth surface adds a touch of luxury, making it a perfect choice for fashion and decoration. The sublimation technique used for the printed design allows for a deep integration of colors into the fabric fibers, ensuring that the prints remain vivid and resistant to wear.
This versatile fabric has a wide range of applications. It is especially suitable for fashion, creating garments such as shirts, blouses, kimonos, jumpsuits, skirts, tops, and various types of dresses, for both men and women. It is also ideal for lingerie, including pajamas and wedding dresses, as well as accessories such as bows, scarves, and ties. In the field of decoration, it is perfect for creating cushions and curtains for the home, adding a touch of elegance to any space. Additionally, it can be used in the making of table runners and lamp shades, as well as in decorative projects for walls.
Regarding the care of the Satin - Amsterdam fabric, it is essential to avoid the use of bleaches and wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a warm temperature. It is important to highlight that the fabric can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature, which facilitates its maintenance without compromising its quality.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a process that consists of transferring special inks through heat, allowing the colors to fuse with the fabric fibers. This technique not only ensures that the prints have great durability but also provides a soft and high-definition finish, ensuring that each design is vibrant and long-lasting over time.
