The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit Fabric - Athens stands out for its softness and elasticity, offering an ideal base for a printed design that captivates with lights in a deep Garnet Red, Midnight Black, and subtle Mint Green. This rich and contrasting palette brings a contemporary elegance that adapts to various applications. To complement this design, solid colors such as light gray, off-white, or navy blue could work, providing a visual balance that highlights the sophistication of the print. This fabric is printed with the single-sided digital textile print design, ensuring the opposite side remains unprinted, which optimizes the functionality and aesthetics of the final product.
The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Athens is a knitted fabric that combines 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, which gives it both strength and comfort. With a weight of 239 gr/m² and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is robust enough for garments that require durability without sacrificing lightness and flexibility. Its soft touch makes it especially pleasant for skin contact, while its elasticity allows for a comfortable and versatile fit. The printed design, vividly expressed thanks to sublimation technology, adds a modern and attractive touch for various applications.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the manufacture of lingerie and pajamas, as well as fashion for men and women, including jerseys, tops, dresses, and cardigans. Its versatility also allows its use in home textiles, being ideal for blankets in living rooms and bedrooms, as well as for table runners in dining rooms. In addition, it can be used in the creation of accessories such as socks, scarves, hats, and shawls, as well as in childrens clothing, making it a fun and functional option for fashion designers and manufacturers.
To keep the fabric in optimal condition, specific care is recommended: it should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature should not exceed 30ºC, and although dry cleaning is allowed, the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. In addition, it is suggested to iron at a cold temperature and not to use a dryer, thus guaranteeing the longevity and appearance of the fabric and its print.
The printing technology used is sublimation, which allows the dyes to fuse with the polyester fibers of the fabric. This process ensures that the design is highly resistant to wear, while maintaining the vibrant intensity of the colors. Sublimation allows the creation of complex and colorful prints that do not fade over time, making this technique an ideal option for garments that require durability and an impactful visual finish.
