The Velvety Corduroy Fabric - Dublin is a soft and shiny corduroy fabric. Its printed design features a play of light in vibrant tones, with a predominance of maroon red, night black, and subtle touches of mint green, evoking modern elegance. It pairs perfectly with solid colors such as white, light gray, or beige, providing a harmonious balance that highlights the vivacity of the design. This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, ensuring outstanding visual quality without losing the characteristic softness and feel of corduroy.
Regarding general characteristics, the fabric has a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, offering a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, which provides a robust and pleasant-to-the-touch structure. The fabrics soft texture, both in its tactile perception and its shiny visual appearance, provides a cozy and elegant effect. The printed design, with its intense colors and play of light, transforms the fabric into an ideal option for various projects.
The applications and uses of this fabric are broad, covering both fashion and decoration. In fashion, it can be used to make pants, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, and skirts, offering a contemporary and sophisticated touch. Additionally, it is perfect for making accessories such as bags and backpacks. In the decoration sector, its versatility allows it to be used for upholstering chairs and armchairs, as well as for creating cushions in the home, in rooms such as the kitchen, bedroom, or living room. It can also be used in the making of curtains, table runners, and bed skirts, bringing a warm and cozy style to any environment.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the fabric, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and avoid dry cleaning, although it admits dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene. It is advisable to iron at a cool temperature and not to tumble dry, as this could damage the fabrics texture and durability.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is textile sublimation on polyester. This technique allows inks to be transferred to the fabric using heat, which ensures that the colors are vibrant and resistant to wear. Sublimation penetrates the fibers of the fabric, ensuring that the design does not crack or wear out easily, maintaining its appearance over time. This form of printing is ideal for polyester fabrics, such as the corduroy used in this fabric, and provides excellent quality in terms of both color and durability.
