The Pleated Crepe Georgette Fabric - Bangkok presents itself as a soft and ethereal 100% polyester option, characterized by a design with circles in shades of pink and brown, creating a harmonious contrast against midnight black, violet pink, and eggplant purple colors. This dark-background design evokes a sense of depth and mystery, ideal for sophisticated and modern looks, while the bright polka dots add a playful and cheerful touch. It is important to mention that the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which ensures crisp image quality and a delicate finish. To complement this fabric in a creation, plain colors such as white, which would highlight the print, or a soft gray that would offer an elegant contrast, are recommended.
The general characteristics of the Pleated Crepe Georgette Fabric include its pleated finish, which not only adds volume but also a touch of sophistication, along with its translucent visual texture that allows for layering and transparency in garments. The applications and uses of this fabric are diverse and versatile: it can be used to make lingerie, such as delicate pieces for brides; in the creation of elegant dresses and flowing skirts for womens and mens fashion; in addition to its adaptability for accessories such as scarves and foulards that add a distinctive touch to any outfit. It is also ideal for swimwear, including sarongs that match a summery aesthetic. Its use in home textiles, especially for sheer curtains, provides a touch of lightness and luminosity to spaces.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is essential to treat it with delicacy. It should not be bleached or tumble dried, as its composition can be affected by high temperatures. Washing should be done at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and dry cleaning is recommended, excluding the use of trichloroethylene. Likewise, it is suggested to iron at a cool temperature to avoid damaging the pleats and the soft texture of the georgette.
Finally, the printing technology used to create the design on this fabric is sublimation on polyester. This process involves the inks turning into gas when heated, allowing them to integrate molecularly into the fabric fibers. This technique not only guarantees a vibrant and durable print but also ensures that the fabric remains soft and lightweight. Digital textile printing allows for precise details and a rich color palette, maximizing creativity in fashion and decoration.
