The Recycled Sportswear Polyester fabric - Basic is a technical, soft, and smooth fabric featuring a printed design of circles and polka dots in midnight black, rose violet, and aubergine purple tones. This enigmatic design highlights the elegance and modernity of the fabric, creating a versatile and dynamic visual appeal. The circles evoke a sense of movement and fluidity, while the color combination provides a fresh and contemporary touch. To complement this print, solid colors such as black, white, light grey, or even neutral tones like beige can be used, as they harmonize perfectly and highlight the vibrant palette of the design. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing, ensuring that the back remains in its original color and without a print.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric stands out for its composition of 93% polyester and 7% elastomer, which gives it great elasticity and resistance, ideal for sports activities. Its weight of 145 gr/m² provides a perfect balance between lightness and durability. This fabric has a soft and smooth texture to the touch, contributing to comfort during use. The design printed on the fabric not only enhances its aesthetics but also maintains the technical properties of the fabric, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
The applications and uses of this fabric are multiple and varied. While it is especially suitable for sportswear such as swimsuits, t-shirts, pants, skirts, and vests for men, women, and children, it can also be used in other contexts such as fashion, which includes the creation of bandanas and mobile phone straps. Furthermore, in the realm of home textiles, it is perfect for making kitchen items like clothespin bags, cushions, and even bedroom curtains. Its versatility allows it to adapt to different styles and functions, making it an ideal choice for both everyday wear and decorative items.
Regarding the care of this fabric, it is essential to follow certain guidelines to maintain its quality. It is recommended not to use bleach, wash at maximum temperatures of 40ºC, and iron at a low temperature, avoiding the use of a dryer, as it can damage the fibers and the print of the fabric. This ensures the durability of the fabric and preserves the printed design.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation. This type of printing allows dyes to be deeply integrated into the polyester fibers, creating a vibrant and long-lasting finish. When heated, the ink turns into a gas, penetrating the fabric and becoming fixed, resulting in remarkable resistance to washing and light exposure. Thus, sublimation ensures that colors remain vivid and design details sharp over time.
