The Polyester Lycra fabric has a weight of 220 gr/m², which gives it remarkable resistance and a pleasant feel against the skin. The composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane gives it a great ability to adapt to the body, making it ideal for close-fitting garments. This fabric is timeless, and its sublimation printing technology ensures that the vibrant stripe patterns are durable and do not wear out with use. The UV protection factor of 50+ adds an additional level of functionality, ideal for swimwear and sportswear.
The applications and uses of this fabric are very varied, making it a versatile option for different fashion sectors. It can be used to create garments such as lingerie, bodysuits, bras, or bralettes, which benefit from its elasticity and softness to offer a comfortable experience. Additionally, its use in tops for women and men, as well as in bikinis and swimsuits, allows for a wide range of designs. The fabric is also suitable for accessories like scrunchies and is highly functional for sports tops for both children and adults.
Regarding the care of the fabric, it is essential to follow a series of recommendations to preserve its qualities. The fabric should not be bleached and should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except for trichloroethylene, and it should be ironed at a cool temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended, as it could damage the elasticity of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, a process that involves transferring inks through heat and pressure, allowing the colors to integrate into the polyester fibers. This ensures that the printed design maintains its intensity and does not fade over time, guaranteeing that garments continue to look as vibrant as the first day. This textile printing method not only enhances the designs but also ensures a soft and pleasant texture to the touch.
