The Polyester Lycra fabric - Nairobi, weighing 270 gr/m2, is a versatile and elastic textile. Its design features multi-colored stripes that provide a vibrant and dynamic touch, ideal for enhancing both sportswear and fashion garments. This colorful print, which evokes energy and movement, can be combined with solid colors such as black, white, or navy blue, creating balanced and attractive looks.
This fabric is digitally printed with a one-sided design, ensuring that the vibrant colors and unique stripes are presented with the best quality, without compromising the softness and characteristics of the reverse side of the fabric. The Polyester Lycra offers an elastic texture, which facilitates freedom of movement, while its weight of 270 gr/m2 ensures adequate resistance for various uses. With a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection (UPF 50+), it is ideal for those looking for garments that hold up well in aquatic environments or during outdoor activities.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the manufacture of lingerie, bodysuits, swimsuits, bikinis, sports leotards, tights or leggings, and fashion garments in general. Its elasticity and resistance make it perfect not only for swimwear but also for sportswear that requires a snug fit and comfort, adapting to female, male, and childrens bodies alike. This versatility also makes it an attractive option for designing stylish and functional clothing that can be used in any season, thanks to its timeless nature.
Regarding its care, it is essential to follow certain recommendations to preserve the fabrics properties: it should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature should be 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except for trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at cool temperatures. It is also important to avoid using tumble dryers, as this could affect the elasticity and shape of the garment.
The printing technology used for this fabric is sublimation, which is applied exclusively to polyester garments. This process allows the dyes to integrate into the fabric fibers, generating vibrant colors and print durability superior to other printing methods. Sublimation does not create an additional layer on the fabric, which maintains its flexibility and softness, ideal for fitted garments where comfort and design go hand in hand.
