The Glasgow broadcloth fabric is designed with a circular and polka dot pattern in the main colors of Night Black, Cotton White, and Dark Purple. The fabric has a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, a weight of 380 gr/m2, and a fabric width of 150 cm. The fabrics texture is soft to the touch, providing comfort and quality in its use. The print is very versatile and can be combined with complementary solid colors such as grey, camel, red, ocher, green, and blue.
The Glasgow broadcloth fabric is suitable for a wide variety of applications. For womens and mens fashion, it can be used for coats, jackets, blazers, and trench coats. Likewise, in home textiles, it can be a suitable fabric for coasters, dishcloths, and dining room and kitchen decoration. It can also be used for making altar cloths.
It is important to note certain care instructions for the preservation of this fabric. Bleaching and dry cleaning are not recommended. The maximum recommended washing temperature is 40ºC, and it is recommended to iron at a warm temperature and not to use a dryer for drying.
The printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester). Sublimation is a digital printing process that uses special inks capable of penetrating the fabric fibers, which allows for great resistance to wear and fading. In addition, digital printing allows for greater detail and definition in the pattern compared to other printing methods.
