Esta referencia de tela está fabricada a partir de botellas de plástico reciclado PET e hilo de poliéster reciclado, por lo que puede presentar pequeñas trazas, hilos o borra dada su naturaleza reciclada y cuya aparición, aunque se de en un % bajo de ocasiones, es totalmente arbitraria e inevitable. También presenta unos indices de encogimiento relevantes que pueden oscilar entre un 4-9 % de encogimiento a lo largo del tejido y un 2% al ancho en función de la pieza. |
The Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is a polyester fabric with a weight of 260 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. Its printed design features circular shapes in different sizes and colors, with a predominance of night black, piggy pink, and plum pink. The design is rough to the touch, rigid, and visually opaque. Additionally, it is worth noting that the fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only.
Regarding the fabrics characteristics, it has a rough and rigid feel, making it ideal for upholstery and decoration applications, as well as for making accessories and fashion garments. As for the printed design, its opacity gives it great versatility of use for different creative projects where striking and colorful designs are sought.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, highlights include decorating frames and pictures, making cushions, pants, accessories, toiletry bags, purses, aprons, table runners, placemats, baskets, frames, upholstery for sofas, chairs, and armchairs, among others. It is important to note that the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is sustainable and has GRS certification.
Regarding its care, it is important to note that it should not be bleached and that washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC is recommended. Dry cleaning with solvents and ironing at a cool temperature are also appropriate. It can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of the Recycled PET Canvas - Dallas is sublimation, a technique in which the design is printed by applying heat and pressure to the polyester fabric. This gives it great durability and resistance to use and washing.
