Description

Glasgow wool fabric is mainly characterized by its shades of blue and white in a printed design of circular motifs, including circles, specks, and polka dots of different sizes. This design gives a feeling of movement and dynamism to the fabric, ideal for fashion applications such as coats, jackets, or blazers for the winter and autumn/winter 2021 season. In addition, it can be combined with plain fabrics in dark tones such as black or forest green to create contrast and highlight the print.

Glasgow wool fabric is soft to the touch, with a weight of 380 gr/m2, which gives it a consistent and robust appearance. The single-sided digital textile print design has good definition and resolution, with a matte finish that does not shine. Among the attributes of the fabric, its application in altars, dining rooms, and kitchens for coasters or cloths stands out. Regarding its composition, the fabric is made of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, which gives it resistance, durability, and a comfortable fit.

It is essential to take into account some care instructions for this type of fabric, such as not bleaching, using a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC, avoiding dry cleaning and tumble drying, and ironing at a warm temperature. This ensures that the fabric maintains its appearance and quality in the long term.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is polyester sublimation, which consists of printing the image on a special transfer paper sheet and then transferring it to the fabric through heat and pressure. This process guarantees the quality and durability of the printed design on the fabric.
