The base fabric is an organic cotton twill with a weight of 195 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm. The printed design, called Florencia, features circular shapes of spots, polka dots, and specks in shades of cotton white, aqua blue, and navy blue. This design evokes a sense of freshness and dynamism that perfectly suits the winter environment. The contrast between whites and blues creates a relaxing visual balance that easily integrates into interior decoration spaces and garments such as pants, overshirts, and shorts for any gender. Likewise, it could be combined with clothing of other solid colors, such as pinks and light grays, and with fabrics of different textures to create an effect of contrast and variety.
The fabric has a soft touch yet rigid texture, which makes it resistant and durable for decorative and fashion applications. The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which means it has good colorfastness and will not fade when washed. In addition, this printing technique allows for high resolution and a crisp finish of the design, making it very visually appealing.
Regarding its general characteristics, organic cotton twill is a sustainable and environmentally friendly fabric, as it is grown and processed without toxic chemicals or pesticides. In addition, it has good breathability and moisture absorption capacity, making it suitable for manufacturing garments and decorative items that will be in contact with the skin or the environment. Consequently, the applications and uses of this fabric are diverse, such as in the decoration of embroidery hoops, paintings, toiletry bags, coin purses, cushions, and tablecloths, among others.
Regarding care, bleaching should be avoided, and it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 30°C and iron with a cool temperature. It cannot be tumble dried but dry cleaning is allowed, except for trichloroethylene.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is direct reactive digital printing for natural fibers, which uses inkjet technology that injects dye pigments directly onto the organic cotton fibers, ensuring high quality and definition of the design.
