Cotton Sateen - White Satin is a soft, lightweight fabric with a weight of 168 gr/m2, ideal for making summer garments such as shirts, dresses, and skirts, as well as for creating bedding like sheets and pillowcases. Its printed design features a pattern of round shapes, whether circles, spots, or polka dots, in shades of cotton white, aqua blue, and sky blue. This print combines perfectly with plain fabrics in pastel tones such as pale pink, pale yellow, or mint green.
This fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, meaning the pattern appears only on one face of the fabric. The fabrics texture is soft and delicate to the touch, making it perfect for garments that require mobility and comfort. Additionally, thanks to its 100% cotton composition, the fabric is breathable and fresh, ideal for summer.
The applications and uses of this fabric are varied, ranging from making womens and mens fashion garments to creating bedding and interior decoration. Its thin texture makes it suitable for fluid, loose-cut clothing, while its softness makes it perfect for nightwear like pajamas and robes.
It is important to consider the necessary care to maintain the quality of the fabric, including not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, ironing at a warm temperature, and avoiding the use of trichloroethylene in dry cleaning. It is also recommended to tumble dry the fabric at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is reactive digital direct, which allows for high-quality and high-definition printing on natural fiber fabrics such as cotton. This process uses specific inks for these types of fabrics that adhere to the fabric through chemical processes and heat, achieving extremely high resolution in the print.
