The fabric in question is the Elastic Point Crepe-Riga, a crepe fabric with a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane. With a weight of 180 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, this fabric is ideal for both mens and womens fashion, in garments such as dresses, t-shirts, skirts or cardigans. Its printed design features circles, polka dots, and spots, in cotton white, aqua blue, and dark blue tones. In addition, this fabric has an elastic and grainy texture.
This printed fabric could be combined with plain colors in white, sky blue, or navy blue, creating a balanced and elegant ensemble. It should be noted that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side only, using the digital textile printing technique.
In terms of general characteristics, the fabric is elastic and soft to the touch, which makes it very comfortable to wear. Regarding the design, the circles and polka dots create a symmetrical effect that brings dynamism and movement to the garment, while the blue and white tones bring light and freshness. In terms of applications and uses, in addition to those already mentioned, this type of fabric is ideal for making jumpsuits, tops, and knitwear.
Regarding the care we should take for this fabric, it is recommended to machine wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and avoid bleaching. The fabric allows dry cleaning with the exception of using trichloroethylene, and can be ironed at a cool temperature. In addition, it can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacturing of this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high-quality and durable printing, obtaining a result with great color fidelity.
