The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is a stretchy and resistant fabric of 270 gr/m2, with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a width of 150 cm and sublimation printing technology (polyester). Its printed design consists of circles, specks, polka dots, and spots in cotton white, deep mauve pink, and pearl pink. This print symbolizes sophistication and elegance combined with modernity and freshness, making it a versatile option for swimwear and sportswear, although it could also be used in lingerie and other types of fashion. The fabric is printed on one side only with digital textile printing, allowing the design to be placed in the desired direction.
The characteristics of this printed fabric include a soft texture and feel, as well as elasticity, resistance to sunlight, and a finish that makes it resistant to salt water and chlorine. It also has high UV protection thanks to its 50+ protection factor. In addition to the uses mentioned, this fabric could be combined with pastel and neutral tones in solid colors such as light blue, dusty pink, white, gray, or black.
Regarding care, it is recommended to wash the the fabric at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not use bleach or tumble dry, iron at a cool temperature, and air dry. It is important to mention that this fabric allows dry cleaning, except for the use of Trichloroethylene.
Finally, it is worth noting that this fabric is manufactured using sublimation printing technology. This means that the design is first printed on special paper with sublimation inks, and then transferred to the fabric by pressing at high temperatures. This process allows the colors to be vibrant and long-lasting, without losing intensity or quality.
