Twill - Prada is a fabric made of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its texture is soft and delicate and it comes in a polka dot print design with the main shapes of circles and dots in multicolor tones. The design can be combined with multiple plain tones, such as red, green, yellow, blue, and pink. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only. Prada twill is ideal for fashion garments for women and men, mainly in skirts, blouses, shirts, dresses, and scarves. It is perfect for the summer season due to its freshness and lightness.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It allows dry cleaning, avoiding trichloroethylene, and ironing should be done at a cold temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying.
The printing technology used to manufacture Prada twill is sublimation on polyester, a technique that allows obtaining very defined and varied designs in a single pass. The printing is done on sublimation paper, which is then transferred to the fabric through a high-temperature and pressure process that allows the pigments to set in the fibers of the fabric. This process provides long-term design durability without affecting the softness and delicacy of the fabric.
