The Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a soft and elastic lycra that stands out for its chlorine resistance and very high UV protection 50+. Its printed design, composed of circles and polka dots in night blue, cotton white, and antique mauve purple, is perfect for swimsuits and bikinis, as well as for making accessories like hair ties or scrunchies. Additionally, it combines very well with solid colors in blue or white tones. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only using digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the Recycled Lycra - Recycled has a soft and elastic texture, thanks to its composition of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. Furthermore, its weight of 190 grams per square meter and its width of 150cm make it a very versatile fabric for different fashion and sport applications. On the other hand, the printed design is characterized by its play of vibrant colors and its geometric pattern that gives it a modern and attractive touch.
As for applications and uses, this fabric is ideal for swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits, as well as for making sportswear. Additionally, it is also perfect for creating accessories such as hair ties and scrunchies. Regarding care, it is recommended to wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and iron at a cool temperature.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows for high definition in designs and great resistance to washing and prolonged use. This technique consists of the direct transfer of ink to the fabric by applying heat and pressure, which allows for perfect color fixation and a uniform and durable finish.
