Polyester Lycra - Nairobi 270 gr/m2

The Polyester Lycra Fabric - Nairobi is a fabric with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design of this fabric is characterized by its combination of circles and dots in cotton white, night black, and deep mauve pink. Additionally, it has an elastic feel and its finish is chlorine-resistant with a very high UPF of 50+. This fabric, digitally printed with the design on one side, combines perfectly with solid colors such as pink, black, and white.

Regarding the applications and uses of this type of fabric, we can highlight its versatility in making lingerie, bodysuits, sportswear such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings. Furthermore, it is a fabric that can be used in swimwear fashion for making swimsuits with exclusive and different designs.

It is important to consider the necessary care to maintain the optimal quality of this fabric. We recommend not bleaching it and washing it at maximum temperatures of 40ºC. In addition, it allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, its ironing should be at cold temperature, and it cannot be tumble dried.

Regarding the printing technology of this fabric, sublimation (polyester) technique is used, which consists of printing the desired image on transfer paper and then applying heat to the fabric to transfer the image. This process allows colors to be sharper and more vivid, and the print not to detach with use and washing. It is important to note that this printing technique is only valid for fabrics with a minimum composition of 80% polyester.
