Velvetleaf - Dublin

The fabric in question is the Dublin velvety corduroy, with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight is 280 gr/m2 and its width is 150 cm. The printed design on this fabric features circles and polka dot shapes in cotton white (77.33%), night black (14.98%), and deep mauve pink (3.34%). This design has a soft texture and a visual sheen, making it ideal for fashion applications such as trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, bomber jackets, or vests. It can also be used for upholstery of chairs, armchairs, sofas, as well as for cushions and baskets for interior decoration. Additionally, it could be combined with solid colors such as greys, whites, blacks, navy blues, or dark mauves. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.

As for its general characteristics, we can say that the Dublin velvety corduroy has a soft texture to the touch and a visual sheen that will bring luminosity and elegance to any garment or decorative element. For its part, the printed design of circles and polka dots gives it a modern and daring look, which can be used in both fashion and decoration.

In addition to the applications already mentioned, this fabric can be used in accessory projects such as handbags or backpacks, for example. Regarding the care this fabric should have, it is not suitable for dry cleaning, dry cleaning is recommended with the exception of trichloroethylene, do not use bleach or tumble dryer, and iron at a cool temperature.

The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, which consists of transferring an image using heat and pressure. In this case, the design is printed on a sheet of paper to be subsequently transferred to the fabric using a heat press. In this way, a high-quality and high-resolution print is achieved, which will last over time and maintain its vibrant colors.
