The base fabric is a Fine Water-Repellent Fabric - Storm, a technical weave made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 70gr/m2 and a width of 145cm. The fabric has a thin, smooth tactile texture, with a water-repellent and waterproof finish. The printed design on the fabric features a Houndstooth pattern in Cotton White (54.47%), Pepper Red (43.94%) and a subtle touch of Worm Pink (0.73%). This design combines perfectly with solid colors ranging from whites, blacks, reds, and grays to warmer tones like light pink.
This fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing. It is important to note that it is not a double-sided printed fabric, but rather printed on one side, which makes it more versatile and easier to work with.
Among the general characteristics of the base fabric, its versatility of use in different applications stands out, such as mens and womens fashion (jackets), home textiles (shower curtains), and sportswear (raincoats and jackets). As it is a water-repellent fabric, it is ideal for garments that will be worn in rainy or humid seasons.
It is important to highlight the care instructions for the fabric, such as maximum washing temperatures of 40°C and no bleaching. The garment does not allow dry cleaning, and should be ironed at a cool temperature. It also cannot be tumble dried, as it may damage the water-repellent properties of the fabric.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which is specifically applied to polyester fabrics and allows the design to penetrate the fabrics fibers, ensuring greater durability and quality of the print. Sublimation is a digital printing technique that involves printing the design on special transfer paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This printing technique is widely used in the production of high-quality sportswear and technical textiles.
