Chanels Tweed fabric is made of 100% polyester with a weight of 420 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features an elegant combination of canary yellow, cotton white, and corn yellow tones in a houndstooth pattern. Additionally, this design could be combined with solid colors such as black or beige to create a sophisticated and modern look. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the patterned design on one side only using digital textile printing, so it is not a double-sided printed fabric.
Regarding its general characteristics, Chanels Tweed fabric has a rigid texture and a firm feel. These characteristics make it perfect for structured pieces such as jackets, blazers, coats, skirts, dresses, bomber jackets, vests, or shorts for men or women. Furthermore, it can also be used in interior decoration for making cushions, adding an elegant and sophisticated touch.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it, wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, it allows dry cleaning except for trichloroethylene, cold ironing, and cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the manufacturing of this fabric has used sublimation printing technology, which involves transferring the design through heat and applying pressure to the polyester fabric. This process allows the design to penetrate the fabric fibers, providing a durable and high-quality result.
