The base fabric is a cloth with a composition of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. The printed design is a houndstooth pattern in shades of burnt pink, cotton white, and Cadillac pink. This design conveys elegance and sophistication, perfect for garments such as coats, jackets, blazers, and trench coats. Additionally, it could be combined with shades of black, gray, and beige in plain garments to achieve a classic look.
The fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for a sharper and more precise pattern. The fabrics texture is soft to the touch, making it a comfortable option for winter or autumn garments.
The fabric has various applications and uses, being suitable for making fashion garments such as bomber jackets, vests, and trench coats, as well as for creating kitchen textiles like dishcloths or coasters. Its high quality also makes it ideal for use in making altar cloths.
It is important to consider the specific care instructions that Glasgow fabric requires to maintain its quality and appearance. Bleaching and dry cleaning should be avoided, as well as using temperatures above 40ºC for washing and warm ironing. Furthermore, tumble drying is not recommended.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, where the ink is transferred directly through heat and pressure, ensuring that the design maintains its brightness and durability without losing quality.
