The Knit Crepe Fabric - Riga is a fabric with a pleasant texture and great elasticity, allowing it to adapt to different body shapes. Its printed houndstooth design in plum pastel red, cotton white, and tulip pink creates a perfect symbiosis of elegance and modernity. This fabric pairs well with solid colors such as black, beige, and gray.
The fabric is digitally printed on one side only, meaning the design is not printed on both sides but only on one. Additionally, it is a medium-weight fabric (180 gr/m2) and wide (150 cm wide), making it suitable for various types of garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, and knitwear.
Among its characteristics, its pleasant feel and elasticity stand out, making it ideal for making body-hugging garments. Furthermore, the printed houndstooth design adds a touch of sophistication and elegance.
Regarding applications and uses, in addition to those mentioned above, this type of fabric is also suitable for making sportswear and swimwear due to its great elasticity and water resistance.
For the care of this fabric, it is recommended to wash it in cold water and not exceed 40ºC. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene, and ironing at a cool temperature is advised. It can also be tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which involves transferring the design through heat. The ink turns into gas and penetrates the fibers of the fabric, ensuring high quality and wash resistance. This technique results in vibrant and detailed designs with intense and long-lasting colors.
