The Lycra Polyester fabric - Nairobi is a type of Lycra with a composition of 82% polyester and 18% elastane, with a weight of 270 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design presents a simple complexity and is composed of circles and polka dots in shades of iceberg blue, day blue, and denim blue. This design can be combined with plain colors such as white, black, or gray to create an elegant and modern look. The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing.
This fabric is elastic, chlorine-resistant, and has a very high UV protection factor of 50+. Its texture is soft to the touch and has high-quality finishes. Regarding its applications, it can be used to make lingerie, sportswear, swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, and leggings, among others. Thanks to its use of sublimation printing technology, the design is durable and does not lose quality with washing or use.
For its care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, allow dry cleaning except trichloroethylene, iron at a cold temperature, and not use a tumble dryer. By following these recommendations, the lifespan of the fabric can be extended.
Sublimation printing technology consists of applying high-quality images to the surface of the fabric by means of heat and pressure. In this way, the design merges with the fibers of the fabric and becomes resistant to wear and discoloration. In addition, it allows great precision in the reproduction of designs, colors, and details.
