The base fabric of this garment is the Antibacterial Water-Repellent Fabric - Tromso, a technical fabric composed entirely of polyester with a weight of 160 gr/m2. It stands out for its waterproof finish and rough texture, but also for its antibacterial property, making it especially useful in fashion garments and accessories. The printed design applied to this fabric features abstract brushstrokes and a clear artistic influence, with a unique and very colorful explosion of colors. Among the solid colors that best combine with this design, neutral tones such as white, black, and gray stand out. It is important to note that this fabric is printed with the design on one side only, using digital textile printing.
As for its general characteristics, a garment made with this fabric will be very resistant and durable, but also comfortable to wear thanks to its texture and feel. In addition, its water-repellent finish makes it especially resistant to stains and moisture. Regarding the attributes of the fabric, in addition to those already mentioned, we can highlight its versatility in terms of uses and applications. For example, it is perfect for both fashion garments and decorative items such as cushions or tablecloths.
Regarding the care that should be taken for this fabric, we must avoid bleaching and not exceed 60ºC washing temperature. In addition, despite allowing dry cleaning, trichloroethylene should be avoided, and it should be ironed at a warm temperature. Tumble drying is not recommended.
Finally, the printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation on polyester, a technique that allows for great precision in printing and high color fidelity in the design. This is because the ink turns into gas when heat is applied, allowing it to integrate directly into the fibers of the fabric.
