The Lycra Polyester fabric - Cairo of 220 gr/m2 features a multicolored printed design with complex shapes that seem to imitate the texture of rocks and stones from ancient walls. This design is intriguing to the eye, as it plays with irregularity to offer a sense of depth and a three-dimensional effect. The design can be combined with solid colors that highlight the tones of the image, such as black, white, or gray.
The fabric has a soft and elastic texture, ideal for sportswear and lingerie. In addition, it is chlorine-resistant and has very high UV protection. The design is printed on one side by digital textile printing, which allows for greater detail in the image, as well as a soft finish to the touch and greater durability.
Among the applications and uses of this fabric are the manufacture of sportswear for women, men, and children, as well as lingerie, bras and bralettes, tops, and even scrunchies. It is also suitable for bikinis and swimsuits for both fashion and sports.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach or tumble dry the fabric. It should also be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and ironed at a cool temperature. Dry cleaning is allowed, except with trichloroethylene.
The printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which consists of printing the design on transfer paper with water-based ink, which is placed on the fabric and subjected to high temperatures so that the ink sublimates, that is, it goes from a solid to a gaseous state, and penetrates the textile fiber creating a permanent bond resistant to washing and use.
