The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo is a fabric with a composition of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, which provides great elasticity and resistance. With a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm, it is an ideal fabric for making sportswear, lingerie, swimwear and fashion in general. Its printed design features a blurred and decorative style with main multi-color bright touches that provide an attractive and striking look. However, it is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side using digital textile printing.
The Polyester Lycra fabric - Cairo and its printed design are characterized by an elastic and soft texture. In addition, it has a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection of 50+. The design with its bright touches gives it a striking and attractive appearance, perfect for garments that seek to stand out and attract attention. As for the combination of plain colors, dark tones such as black, navy blue or dark green could work to create an interesting and sophisticated contrast.
Among the applications of the fabric we can find the making of sportswear for men, women and children, lingerie such as bras and bralettes, fashion in general with knitwear and tops, scrunchies and swimsuits and bikinis for men and women. Each of these applications requires different characteristics and specific care in tailoring to ensure the quality and durability of the garments.
It is important to take into account the care that this fabric should have to ensure its proper preservation. It should not be bleached, the maximum washing temperature should be 40ºC, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene, ironing should be at a cold temperature and it should not be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which is achieved by transferring ink through a heat and pressure process to permanently fix the color on the fabric. This allows for high quality in the design and ensures its permanence in the fabric over time.
