The Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon fabric is a knitted fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, which provides great elasticity and a soft, pleasant feel. Its weight of 282 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it an ideal fabric for making winter garments, such as trousers, dresses, jumpers, t-shirts, and tops. In addition, its application in home textiles allows its use in the creation of dining napkins.
The printed design that decorates the fabric features a multitude of main colours in bright, blurred tones that give it a decorative and cheerful touch. This design combines perfectly with plain fabrics in cool tones such as blue, green, or lilac. The fabric is printed with this design on one side by digital textile printing, which guarantees high quality finishes.
In terms of its general characteristics, the fabric provides great flexibility and excellent stretch recovery. Its soft and pleasant texture makes it a very versatile and comfortable fabric to wear. The design, for its part, adds a touch of style and originality to any garment made with it.
In addition to the applications and uses already mentioned, this fabric can also be used for swimwear and sportswear thanks to its great elasticity. As for the care that should be taken with this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash with water at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron at a cold temperature. This fabric allows dry cleaning, except with trichloroethylene, and cannot be tumble dried.
The printing technology used in the manufacture of this fabric is polyester sublimation, which allows the designs to be very sharp and bright. This process consists of applying the design onto transfer paper, which is fixed to the fabric by heat and pressure, allowing the colour to penetrate the fibres and not peel off with washing or prolonged use.
