Polyester Lycra - Nairobi is an elastic, chlorine-resistant fabric with very high UV protection (50+), perfect for making lingerie, swimwear, and sportswear. Its printed design features a botanical style with artistic floral elements and petals, all in multicolor tones with a touch of droplets. This color combination can be perfectly paired with plain fabrics in white, black, or navy blue.
Its important to note that the fabric is only printed on one side using digital textile printing, which gives the design a unique expressiveness. Additionally, the fabric has an elastic texture that allows for a very comfortable fit in tight-fitting garments.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, a wide variety of garments can be made, such as swimsuits, bikinis, leotards, leggings, among others. Its chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection provide greater resistance and durability to the garments, making it an ideal choice for sportswear and swimwear.
As for care, its important not to bleach the fabric and to maintain a maximum washing temperature of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is possible, but the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. Low-temperature ironing is recommended, and tumble drying should be avoided.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation. This means that the ink is infused into the fabric by vaporization, which ensures high definition in colors and great contrast without affecting the original texture of the fabric.
