Recycled Lycra fabric - Recycled is a sustainable lycra weighing 190 gr/m2, composed of 85% polyester and 15% elastane. This fabric features a soft and elastic texture, as well as a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection (50+). The printed design of this fabric has a tropical style and is composed of artistic and natural flowers, as well as petals and plants. The main colors of the design are multicolor. This single-sided digitally printed textile fabric could combine with solid colors such as black, white, turquoise, or yellow.
Regarding the general characteristics of this fabric, it is important to highlight its soft, elastic, and comfortable feel, as well as its resistance to chlorine and fading. On the other hand, the printed design features a combination of natural elements that make it perfect for swimwear or summer clothing. It is also important to note that this fabric has GRS certification, guaranteeing its manufacture with recycled and sustainable materials.
Regarding the applications and uses of this fabric, in addition to swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits, it can also be used for making hair ties and scrunchies, as well as for fashion garments. The elasticity of Lycra makes it perfect for garments that require a body-hugging fit.
As for the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC. The garment is not suitable for dry cleaning and should be ironed at a low temperature. Additionally, this fabric cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured using sublimation technology, a printing technique that allows ink to be transferred to the fabric fibers through heat. This printing technique ensures the durability of the design and its resistance to use and washing.
