Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon is a soft and elastic knit fabric composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane, with a weight of 282 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. This fabric has been printed with a single-sided patterned design using sublimation technology, featuring a tropical style and an artistic floral and flowering plant nature in a wide multicolour range as its main design attributes.
The printed design on Punto Roma Elástico - Lyon is a symbolic representation of tropical nature and is presented with a wide range of colours ranging from intense greens and deep blues to soft pink and vibrant yellow tones, allowing it to combine with plain garments in white, black, blue, pink, yellow and green tones. The soft texture of the fabric makes it ideal for creating all types of garments, including tops, t-shirts, trousers, dresses, jumpers and table napkins.
The general characteristics of the fabric and the printed design are smoothness and softness in its texture, as well as its lightness. In addition, it is presented as an easy-to-sew and manipulate fabric, which makes it ideal for sewing projects for both fashion and home.
Among the possible applications and uses that can be given to this fabric are the creation of knitwear for both women and men and table napkins for dining rooms. Special care must be taken when treating the fabric, including avoiding bleaching, washing at a maximum of 30 degrees and ironing cold, as well as refraining from using a tumble dryer or trichloroethylene for cleaning.
The printing technology used for the manufacture of this fabric is sublimation, which allows the pigments to fuse with the polyester fibres through the absorption of ink by heat and pressure, creating a design of great fidelity and resistance on the single-sided printed fabric.
