The Crepe Knit Stretch Fabric - Riga features a printed design of vichy plaid shapes in multi-color tones. This design provides a modern and youthful look, especially for womens fashion garments such as dresses, skirts, or tops, although it can also be adapted to mens fashion items like t-shirts or cardigans. Additionally, it can be combined with solid colors in light tones such as white or blue, achieving an appropriate contrast.
The fabric has an elastic texture with a soft, grainy feel that adds a touch of originality to garments made with it. Furthermore, thanks to its polyester and elastane composition, it is comfortable and easy to handle when working on its confection.
Regarding its general characteristics, its versatility in terms of applications and uses stands out, including the creation of knitwear for both women and men. In addition, its weight and width allow it to be adapted to various garments depending on the time of year.
Regarding the care this fabric should receive, it is important to avoid bleaching and wash at maximum temperatures of 40ºC. Dry cleaning is also allowed, but the use of trichloroethylene should be avoided. It is also recommended to iron at cool temperatures and tumble dry at reduced temperatures.
Finally, the fabric is printed with the design on one side using digital textile printing, a technique that allows for high-quality and precise designs. This ensures that the printed image is durable and resistant to possible rubbing and wear on the garments made.
