Recycled Lycra is a medium-weight, elastic and soft fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, certified as sustainable with the GRS certification. Its printed design features a multicolor vichy check pattern. This design can be combined with plain tones such as white, black, pink or blue, among others. The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side.
Among the characteristics of the fabric, its softness, elasticity, and chlorine resistance stand out, as well as very high UV protection (50+). On the other hand, the printed design adds a fun and original touch to the garment.
Among the applications and uses of the fabric, it is used for making accessories such as scrunchies, as well as for swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits. In addition, given its characteristics, it can also be used for sports garments.
Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach the garment, wash it at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, do not dry clean it, iron it at a low temperature, and avoid tumble drying.
Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric is sublimation on polyester, through which the printed ink is transferred through heat and pressure, allowing for high quality and durability in the print.
