The Recycled Lycra - Recycled fabric is a soft and elastic lycra of 190 gr/m2 that combines recycled polyester and elastane to provide a snug and comfortable fit. Its printed design is quite simple, with a graphic pattern of circles and polka dots in multicolored tones that evoke a modern art style. The main colors of the design are perfect to combine with solid colors such as white, black, blue or light pink. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing.
Regarding its general characteristics, the fabric has a soft and elastic texture that makes it adapt perfectly to the body, as well as a chlorine-resistant finish and a very high UV protection of 50+. On the other hand, the design features circular and dotted shapes that generate an eye-catching pattern that is not too complex or overloaded.
Regarding the applications and uses of the fabric, different accessories can be made such as scrunchies, as well as sportswear or swimwear such as bikinis or swimsuits. The fabric is timeless, so it can also adapt to different fashions and seasons.
Regarding care, it is important to note that the garment does not allow dry cleaning and it is recommended not to use a tumble dryer or bleach. It should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40°C and ironed at a cold temperature.
Finally, this fabric is manufactured with sublimation printing technology, which means that the design is printed directly onto the fabric through a process in which heat and pressure are used to transfer the design from a special sheet to the fabric. In this way, a precise and long-lasting color is achieved over time.
