The Elastic Knit Crepe fabric - Riga features an elastic, textured feel that perfectly conforms to the body. Its printed design includes multicolored circles and dots, with a modern art style and a very simple graphic pattern. This design, combined with the base fabric, allows for the creation of versatile and timeless fashion garments, perfect for dresses, skirts, jumpsuits, t-shirts, tops, pants, cardigans, and knitwear for both women and men.
The fabric is printed with the single-sided pattern using digital textile printing, which provides excellent image quality and detail. In addition, both the elastic texture and the softness of the fabric ensure a better fit when making garments.
Regarding general characteristics, this fabric has a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, a weight of 180 gr/m², and a width of 150 cm. It is also notable for its resistance to wear and washing, and its easy care.
Regarding applications and uses, thanks to its elasticity and soft texture, it is ideal for making comfortable and attractive garments for both everyday wear and special occasions. We could use it to create a simple, flowing dress with a cardigan and sandals for an informal lunch. For a more formal look, a knee-length straight skirt and a fitted t-shirt with the same printed design could be made.
As for care, this fabric should be washed with cold or lukewarm water and should not be bleached. It should be ironed at a low temperature and can be tumble dried at a reduced temperature. It is recommended not to use trichloroethylene for dry cleaning.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation, a technique that involves applying heat to the fabric with the already printed ink, causing it to go from a solid to a gaseous state, and then solidifying it again within the fabric by cooling, which generates greater durability of the printed design.
