Cotton Touch Jersey Knit - Athens

The Cotton-Feel Jersey Knit - Athens is a knit fabric composed of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, with a weight of 239 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its soft texture and elasticity make it ideal for use in fashion garments such as tops, dresses, cardigans, and sweaters, as well as for making lingerie, pajamas, and accessories like scarves and wraps. Additionally, it is also suitable for producing blankets for the living room or bedroom, table napkins, and childrens knitwear.

Its printed design is created using sublimation technology on polyester and features an intricate print inspired by nature, with trees, moss, and bark in multicoloured hues. This design symbolizes nature in winter and autumn/winter 2021, making it perfect for dressing during this time of year. Furthermore, it pairs very well with plain tones from the same colour range as those seen in the design.

It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the design on one side only using digital textile printing, meaning that only one side of the fabric is patterned. Despite this, the print quality is excellent, and the fabric exhibits great resistance to washing and wear.

Regarding care, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, and iron at a low temperature. It is not suitable for tumble drying or using products containing trichloroethylene for dry cleaning.

The printing technology used to apply this design to the fabric is sublimation on polyester. This technique involves transferring ink through heat and pressure to the fabric, allowing for high definition and a wide range of colours. Moreover, the print is durable, resistant to washing, and does not crack or peel over time.
