Dublins Velvety Corduroy fabric is a soft, shiny fabric with a composition of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane. Its weight of 280 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it ideal for decorative uses such as upholstery for chairs, sofas, and cushions, as well as for fashion items like trousers, jackets, and accessories. This fabric is printed with a one-sided pattern using sublimation technology (polyester) with a colorful and retro style, featuring checkered and tile-like shapes in multicolour tones.
The design printed on Dublins Velvety Corduroy fabric is a vibrant and colorful work that, thanks to its retro style and checkered shapes, evokes nostalgia from the 1970s and 1980s. The combination of multicolour tones makes it especially versatile, allowing for a wide range of combinations with solid colours such as white, red, green, and blue, among others. The fabrics attributes and its printed finish are designed to offer great durability and abrasion resistance, while maintaining its softness and shiny texture.
The applications and uses of Dublins Velvety Corduroy fabric are numerous thanks to its versatility and quality, being especially suitable for upholstery both indoors and outdoors, as well as for fashion garments such as jackets, trousers, and bags. In addition, its softness and shiny texture make it ideal for cushions and other decorative elements in bedrooms, kitchens, and living rooms, as well as for accessories such as backpacks and hats.
To care for Dublins Velvety Corduroy fabric, it is important to follow some recommendations. It should not be bleached or washed at high temperatures, with a maximum washing temperature of 30 degrees Celsius, and dry cleaning is not possible, although professional dry cleaning (except with trichloroethylene) is. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature, and tumble drying is not allowed.
The printing technology used on Dublins Velvety Corduroy fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows inks to be applied through a thermal transfer process that enables a chemical bond with the fabric fibers. This results in high print quality, fade resistance, and a soft, durable texture. It should be noted that this fabric is printed on one side only and not on both sides of the fabric.
