The Punto Jersey Cotton Feel - Atenas fabric has a composition of 81% polyester, 15% acrylic, and 4% elastane, providing a soft and elastic texture to the touch. Its weight of 239 gr/m2 and width of 150 cm make it ideal for knitwear such as jerseys, cardigans, or dresses, as well as for accessories like scarves or socks. Additionally, it can also be used in home textiles, such as blankets or napkins. This fabric is designed with a complex sublimation print (polyester) style, featuring geometric touches, street art, and vintage elements, in a multi-toned color palette. It would combine perfectly with solid colors in neutral tones such as white, black, grey, or beige, to highlight the details of the printed design.
The fabric printed with the single-sided digital textile print design provides softness and elasticity to the touch, as well as a texture that conforms to the body. The combination of the fabrics attributes, along with those of the printed design, makes it a unique and versatile piece for various applications in fashion garments or home textiles. It is important to note that the base fabric is highly resistant, which gives it durability against use and washing.
Given that the Punto Jersey Cotton Feel - Atenas fabric is ideal for knitwear, accessories, and home textiles, its use would primarily be in womens/mens fashion for making dresses, cardigans, tops, jerseys, scarves, among others. In the case of home textiles, its application would be focused on making blankets and napkins for decorating living rooms and bedrooms.
It is important to consider the specific care required for this fabric, which includes not bleaching, washing at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, allowing dry cleaning except with trichloroethylene, ironing at a cool temperature, and not tumble drying. This will allow it to maintain its quality and resistance over time.
Finally, the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester), which allows the design to be printed on the surface of the fabric with great precision and quality, without losing its softness and elasticity to the touch. This printing technique also guarantees the durability and resistance of the fabric, as well as a wide range of colors available to choose from.
