Recycled Lycra fabric is a type of lycra fabric made of 85% polyester and 15% elastane, with a weight of 190gr/m2 and a width of 150cm. It is a sustainable fabric, GRS certified and timeless. The printed design is characterized by its simple complexity, where it is drawn with circles and polka dot shapes. The main colors are pepper red, seaweed green and ForestGreen. This design can be combined with other plain colors such as white, black or navy blue.
The fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side by digital textile printing, which makes it a one-sided printed fabric. This printing was done with sublimation technology (polyester).
Recycled Lycra fabric, in addition to being soft and elastic, has a chlorine-resistant finish and very high UV protection 50+, which makes it perfect for swimwear and sportswear. In addition, according to our internal knowledge, it could be used for making scrunchies and hair ties.
To keep it in good condition, it is recommended not to use bleaching products, wash at a maximum temperature of 40°C, iron at low temperature and do not tumble dry. It is also important to mention that the garment is not suitable for dry cleaning.
In summary, Recycled Lycra fabric is a sustainable and resistant option for swimwear and sportswear thanks to its elastic properties and UV protection. The printed design of circles and polka dots in shades of red and green perfectly complements plain colors such as black, white or navy blue. All this printed using sublimation technology for greater durability and print quality.
