The fabric in question is the Velvety Corduroy - Dublin, a corduroy type fabric composed of 85% polyester, 12% polyamide, and 3% elastane, with a weight of 280 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features abstract and watercolor attributes, with a decorative style and simple complexity. The main colors of the design are multi-color, so it could be combined with solid colors such as black, white, gray, or navy blue. The fabric is printed with the design on one side by digital textile printing.
This Velvety Corduroy - Dublin has a soft texture and a shiny appearance, characteristics that are reflected in the printed design. As for its applications and uses, we can use it for decorating and upholstering chairs, armchairs, and sofas, as well as for making trousers, overshirts, jackets, blazers, coats/vests, accessories such as bags and backpacks, and even cushions and baskets for the home. Its ideal season is winter.
Regarding care, it is important not to bleach the fabric and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It should not be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and dry cleaning is allowed. Ironing should be done at a cool temperature and, finally, it cannot be tumble dried.
Finally, the printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which consists of printing the design on transfer paper, which is then transferred to the fabric using a heat press, allowing for high image quality and even greater print durability.
