The Gabardine - Prada fabric is a twill made of 96% polyester and 4% elastane, with a weight of 220 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design is abstract and watercolor, with a decorative style and simple complexity. Its main colors are multicolor, with soft and delicate tones that evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony. This design can be easily combined with plain colors such as white, black, beige, light blue, and pastel pink. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing, which allows for great precision and detail in the design.
In terms of its characteristics, the fabric stands out for its softness and delicacy to the touch, as well as its thinness and light texture. This combination makes it an ideal option for light and flowing garments, such as shirts, skirts, blouses, and dresses. In addition, its ideal season is summer, as its fabric is cool and breathable.
Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC. It can be dry cleaned (except with trichloroethylene) and should be ironed at a cool temperature. In no case should it be tumble dried.
Finally, it is important to note that the printing technology used to manufacture this fabric is sublimation (polyester). This process consists of printing the design on specific paper and then transferring it to the fabric using heat and pressure. This technology offers great precision and fidelity in the reproduction of the design, as well as great resistance to washing and friction.
