The base fabric is a satin weave called Amsterdam, made of 100% polyester, with a weight of 120 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its shiny finish makes it ideal for making womens and mens fashion garments, blouses, tops, skirts, pants, jumpsuits, kimonos, and accessories. Additionally, it is a timeless fabric and from the Autumn/Winter 2021 season.
The printed design is characterized by its simplicity and elements typical of Chinese Taoism, such as the Yin Yang symbol. The printing is done using sublimation technology on polyester, single-sided, in this case with a vectorial pattern. The main colors are night black, cotton white, and dark red, which could be combined with other plain tones such as blue, yellow, or green.
The texture and feel of the Amsterdam Satin are smooth and thin. In turn, the printed design has a bright and subtle visual texture, reflecting the symbolism of Chinese Taoism.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide, excelling in lingerie and fashion, especially in wedding dresses and pajamas. The fabric requires specific care, such as washing at maximum temperatures of 40°C, warm ironing, and no bleaching.
Regarding printing technology, sublimation is a process that transforms liquid pigments into gas to then permanently adhere to the fabrics surface, allowing for greater precision of designs, details, and colors, thus ensuring their durability.
