The Paño - Glasgow fabric is a textile made of 93% polyester, 5% viscose, and 2% elastane, with a weight of 380 gr/m2 and a width of 150 cm. Its printed design features abstract brushstrokes and paintings in multicolour, conveying energy and vitality. This design can be combined with solid colours such as black or navy blue to create an aesthetic balance.
The fabric is printed using textile sublimation technology, which allows the colours to be durably fixed into the fibre. It is important to note that the fabric is printed on one side only, meaning the design is not visible on the other side of the fabric. In terms of general characteristics, the fabric has a soft and pleasant texture to the touch, making it ideal for garments such as coats, jackets, or blazers. Additionally, thanks to its composition, it can also be used for making home accessories like coasters or kitchen towels. Regarding the care instructions for this fabric, it is recommended not to bleach, wash at a maximum temperature of 40ºC, iron at a warm temperature, and not tumble dry. Furthermore, it is important to note that this garment is not suitable for dry cleaning. Finally, the printing technology used in this fabric, textile sublimation, is based on the use of special inks that, when exposed to high temperatures and pressures, turn into a gas that penetrates the fabric fibres. This achieves a sharp, high-quality image that resists the passage of time.
