The Elastic Knit Crepe fabric - Riga has a composition of 94% polyester and 6% elastane, giving it an elastic and grainy texture to the touch. The complexity and the corrosion and rust tones of the multicolored printed design evoke a sense of wear and aging. This fabric could be combined with plain colors in brown, beige, and green tones to achieve a harmonious and balanced look.
The fabric is printed with a single-sided design using digital textile printing. The fabric offers many general characteristics thanks to the use of elastane, such as its elasticity and comfort, but also due to its grainy texture to the touch. The attributes of the printed design enhance the fabrics appearance, giving it a unique and distinctive look.
The applications and uses of the fabric are broad, and it can be used for making garments such as dresses, jumpsuits, t-shirts, skirts, pants, and cardigans, for both womens and mens fashion. In addition, its weight of 180 gr/m2 makes it timeless for use in any season.
It is important to note certain care instructions for the fabric, such as avoiding bleaching and washing at temperatures above 40ºC. It can also be dry cleaned, ironed at low temperature, and tumble dried at a reduced temperature.
The fabric is manufactured using polyester sublimation printing technology, which allows colors to be fixed directly into the fabric fibers and not on the surface. This printing method gives the fabric higher durability and resistance than conventional prints, as well as the ability to reproduce high-quality and detailed designs.
