The base fabric is a heathered polyester knit fabric with a weight of 135 gr/m2 and a width of 160 cm, intended for fashion garments, especially t-shirts, for both men and women. Its texture is characterized by being smooth and translucent, while also featuring an elastic finish that makes it very comfortable to wear.
The printed design on the fabric features simple complexity, with corrosion and rust motifs in multicolor tones. This design can be perfectly combined with other neutral tones such as white or black, for a more sophisticated look, or with green or orange tones to add a bolder touch. It is important to note that the fabric is printed with the stamped design on one side using digital textile printing.
The general characteristics of the fabric are its smooth and translucent texture, which makes it ideal for summer garments or for layering in colder months. In addition, its elastic finish provides comfort to the wearer. Regarding the printed design, its corrosion and rust motifs convey a vintage aesthetic, perfect for those looking to add a touch of personality to their garments.
The applications and uses of this fabric are wide-ranging, from making t-shirts and knitwear for women and men, as well as for childrens fashion or accessories such as backpacks or bags.
Regarding fabric care, it is important not to bleach it and to wash it at a maximum temperature of 30ºC, avoiding the use of a tumble dryer. It can be dry cleaned, except with trichloroethylene, and it is recommended to iron at a cool temperature.
Finally, it should be noted that this fabric is printed using sublimation technology, which uses special inks that turn into gas when heat is applied, thus penetrating the fabric fibers and offering high print quality. This technique allows for the reproduction of complex designs in full color with great sharpness and durability, as is the case with the heathered rust and corrosion design.
