The stretchy Punto Roma knit fabric - Lyon is soft to the touch and offers great elasticity thanks to its composition of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. Its weight of 282 gr/m2 makes it ideal for winter garments such as trousers, dresses, jumpers, and t-shirts. This fabric is printed with a folk-style patterned design that combines natural elements such as flowers, petals, and roses in multicolour. The intense tones of the design can be combined with plain colours such as black, white, dark blue, or light pink.
The fabrics soft texture provides a comfortable and versatile finish to the design, which in turn presents a cheerful and original aesthetic, drawing attention to the figures of flowers and petals in its design. This fabric is single-sided printed using digital textile printing, which allows both the texture and the design of the fabric to remain stable and continuous.
Regarding its characteristics, we can highlight its soft touch, which facilitates air passage and its natural elasticity. In addition, the knit fabric allows good breathability, making it a suitable option for use in outer and inner garments. Its applications and uses extend to womens and mens fashion, as well as household items such as dining napkins. In womens fashion, it is particularly used for tops, t-shirts, dresses, and jumpers.
It is important to note some care instructions for this fabric, such as avoiding bleaching and washing at a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius. It is recommended to iron at low temperatures and not tumble dry. For cleaning, dry cleaning is allowed except with trichloroethylene.
Polyester sublimation printing technology is used for the production of this fabric. This technique is based on the use of liquid inks that turn into gas when heated, being absorbed by the fabric fibres, with the help of a heat press that ensures the fixation of the design on the fabric. This technique is ideal for synthetic fabrics such as polyester in combination with digital textile printing.
