The base fabric is a polyester lycra called Cairo, weighing 220 gr/m2. This fabric is composed of 90% polyester and 10% elastane, making it elastic and soft to the touch. The printed design combines floral and plant elements, with predominant multicolored hues, in a decorative and folkloric style. The design would pair well with solid fabrics in white, black, or green tones.
The fabric is digitally printed with the design on one side, meaning it has one printed side and one plain side. The fabrics texture is elastic and soft, and it has a finish that makes it chlorine-resistant and provides very high UV protection of 50+.
The fabric is primarily used for sportswear, such as bikinis and swimsuits, as well as for lingerie, tops, and knitwear. Other accessories like scrunchies can also be created.
For fabric care, it should be washed at a maximum temperature of 40ºC and not bleached. It can be dry cleaned except with trichloroethylene. It is important to iron at a cool temperature and not tumble dry.
The printing technology used on this fabric is sublimation, which involves printing the inks onto special paper and transferring them to the fabric through heat and pressure. This allows the design to adhere to the fabric without adding weight or changing its texture.
